The Bird and the Sea is a short story I first wrote in early 2013 (some of you may remember the excerpt I shared), and finally made presentable very recently.
It is not a very happy story and also perhaps not a particularly coherent one—but it has been on my mind for the past two and a half years in a significant way. I’m glad to let it out.
